Poster presentation at global earth sciences conference

by Track Zero

Prof. James Renwick presents poster at US conference

Track Zero Board members – Prof. James Renwick, Carla van Zon and Sarah Meads – co-authored a poster presentation about the role of arts inspiring climate action for the global annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU). The AGU is based in the US but has members from all over the world and is one of the world’s biggest professional societies in the earth sciences. The Fall Meeting, traditionally held in San Francisco in December, is the biggest conference in the world for earth scientists. With around 30,000 attending it’s a great venue to keep up to date with the latest science and to have work seen. The conference covers all the usual scientific disciplines as well as aspects of policy, science education, outreach and communication, and many cross-cutting societal issues.
